If you enlarge this picture, you can see how truly snaggled her teeth really are; she has 3 crooked ones on the bottom and 4 perfect ones on top.
A beautiful rainbow. You could see the entire arch and a few seconds later you could see its shadow making it a double rainbow.
We had her 12 month doctor's appointment complete with shots. She did okay, but she did not enjoy getting her blood drawn. She screamed bloody murder and I was glad Lee was there to hold her while I cringed in the hall.
After her appointment, we were invited to join the big kids at the Iowa Children's museum. It was our first visit and she loved every moment (2+ hours of playing). She must not be very bright because she kept going up to this mural and patting the geese saying, "baaaaa." The poor girl thought they were sheep (they are white and fluffy, I guess).
She also explored the inside of a refrigerator at the Pizzeria.
She has now learned how to open the cupboards in the kitchen. She has also learned how to take the childproof latches off too. She is a tricky little sucker. The other day she came waddling in carrying a stir fry pan. I don't see any sign of remorse in her expression.

She's cute.
Really cute.
Do you stir fry?
Snaggle teeth are cute and I guess you were bound to have a daughter who fulfilled your nickname :)
What's her fascination with fridges?
Who's she yelling at in that last one?
When you talk with her about the latches, you may want to mention some fridge safety tips. I'm just sayin.
First of all... what a cutie!! Isn't it crazy how fast they start doing new things all of a sudden?! Our girls love cleaning out cabinets too. What makes it so fascinating?!
And second... thank you. I'm so grateful that our friendship has lasted all these years and that we can get through this motherhood thing together. I desperately wish you lived closer, but until we get brave enough to try a trip to Iowa, I guess we'll just have to stick to blogs. :) I love you, friend.
