Saturday

Saturday dawned and this is what it looked like outside:
Yikes! What is a girl to do? So, our girl watched part of our favorite"mungo," (aka movie) Enchanted with her dad. I love that Lee can recite lines from it and he occasionally sings along.
We put on our pretty new dress (I love it and she might wear it more often than she should. If she does please don't embarrass her by mentioning it). We all know that a killer outfit helps chase away the blahs.
She had to give the rooster a kiss (obviously) before we could leave.

We went to lunch with the relatives and "uncle."

After her nap, she added denim jacket for extra warmth and to complete the Debbie Gibson-esque ensemble and we headed out to the farm.
We went to the farm and she played and curtsied.
Someone (my inlaws) insisted that she would not be warm enough and put a green Carhartt sweatshirt over her cute outfit. She got to pet Big Kitty in the hay loft.
She got to feed a "hees" (aka horse) a treat.

On our walk back to the house, we saw a pretty sunset,
And she got to hang out with two of her favorite boys (Uncle and Daddy).

If you like my sweetheart's cool dress and want one (or several) of your own, I will try to link the etsy site (http://www.etsy.com/shop/whimsiesbyjen). The dress (and she also makes t-shirts) are not on the site, but I'll bet if you asked really nicely...

Don't you worry...my father in laws crazy outfit will go unmentioned. Stay tuned.

I love this post... except for the fact that it's supposed to be spring!

oh and I'm so proud of the fact that Scott can sing every word to the Genovian national anthem (Princess Diaries). Daddies and their girls... I love it :)

What a QT!
Jen - that dress captures Lulu's personality to a "t" or should I say "L" :)
