Bullied

I, like my oldest sister, have been bullied into starting a blog. Our middle sister is intimidating and can be quite convincing at times. I have nothing truly exciting to report, but I figured I should start now so when something happens, I will be prepared.

Pathetic. I am a high school teacher and I just went to borrow a digital camera from our media specialist (AKA librarian). I lied and said it was to take pictures of the tennis team (I coach tennis, by the way). He showed me how to use it and when I asked him how to put the pictures online, he said, "Oh just bring it to me and I can do it for you." How do you think he would respond if I tell him I want to put the pictures on my blog so my sister's friends in Arizona can see them? I guess that idea is out the window. Do you think it would be out of the question to buy a $350 dollar camera so my blog would be more aesthetically pleasing?

I said I would start blogging when I had a child because that is what everyone I know blogs about, but alas I gave in too soon. My middle sister said I would have to start blogging when the purse I bought at Last Chance and sent in to Coach to be fixed came back. I have been carrying the purse for 2 weeks so I thought I should hold up my end of the deal. Actually, my beautiful "Allie tote" was going to be the first picture I posted, but again how do I explain that to the librarian?

If I buy a camera all you will see is pictures of my dog, my two cats and other random objects that seem entertaining enough to blog about. I probably won't be a daily blogger like some people I know, so don't get mad at me if you make this site a favorite and check it compulsively. Also, I am a perfectionist and a crier, so if I have typos or incorrect grammar, please pretend and don't post any corrections. You would all feel badly if I wrote a post about how i cried myself to sleep at night because people criticized my first blog attempt.

Middle sister...have I written enough for my first time?

Glad my tax money is being put to good use since I note you are on the clock! Bring your purse tomorrow and I'll take a picture of it and email it to you. I think you wrote more in your one blog than Katie has ever written in all of hers although I am partial to pictures.

hey did you know that some guy named Brian has a blog with the same title as yours minus the word "of". Found it by mistake because I forgot to save you in my favorites this afternoon.

So weird, but I was totally thinking of you today and about how you told MS (middle sister) that if you had a blog you would write about how your socks don't match. I'd like a picture of that.

I must say, I'm a little jealous of all your comments. I have never had 9, now 10 comments on one post!

I agree with kiki - jealous of the post. Come on though I am sure you have a camera phone that you could snap a couple of crazy picts of your students!!!
