One day last winter, I was in 4th hour (about 10:30am) and I crossed my legs. I looked down and the crossed leg and thought, 'that is strange...why would I wear black shoes with brown socks?' Then I quickly looked at my other shoe and realized that it was brown. When I had left for school that morning, it was dark (as it often is at 7:15am in Iowa during the winter). I had thrown on two Dansko shoes in different colors.
So...like blogyn taught me, I knew I had to take a picture. So I went down to the library to talk to the media specialist about borrowing a camera. Of course he asked what I was taking a picture of, I showed him and he laughed. As I was trying to take a picture of my own feet, he offered to take it for me. So what you see above is the media specialist taking a picture of my mismatched shoes.
When I got to lunch one of the older teachers hugged me and said, "thanks. I thought it was because I was old." Feel free to laugh at my expense, because all of my students sure did.

I feel like such a rock star - My comment got commented on and even spurred a whole post! I may pass out.
Oh, and Jen - don't you think Blog Stalker would look good in yoga pants? They are allll about the booty.
I once had a similar situation. Only I was wearing a wedge and a flip flop. I am not sure how it happened because it is not very dark here in Arizona. We live about 8 miles from the sun, so that could not be my excuse. Hmmm...
Thanks for the shoutout. I like it.
Our pastor did this in STL.Someone commented in the front row during service to him. I think that he was quite humilated amongst the 1500 people.
Tired of the clogs:)
