Today we had a homeroom. My homeroom is way down the hall and on the first floor, so I was hurrying to get there.
I was rushing down the hall and a co-worker (who is 5'2" and gained 70 lbs with her pregnancy, not that I am spiteful...) was walking toward me. She giggled a little and said, "I think you are waddling."
Ouch, that hurts. Am I being overly sensitive or is that a comment that is just better kept to yourself (even if it has a shred of truth)?
Oh well, I am off to the doctor's office, so he can tell me my feet are puffy.
Happy Friday (only 5 days of school left)!

"Waddling" is just part of end, so to speak. Think of it as graduating. Be glad you're there (24 days, sorry :) ) and next time you see her, give her a little extra waddle so she has something to really tease you about. No matter how hard you try (and I thought I gave 100% effort) you will, indeed, waddle. Sorry. I remember several people saying that to me (that I was waddling) and all i wanted to say was, "I am not!" I still think I was able to control it most of the time......see, I still don't want to admit it...
Wow, what a great baby shower and house! Glad you had a good time.
I've got to get your address b/c we're moving to your neighborhood - Pleasant Drive! I always forget to call when we're over there so one time we drove up and down your street looking for the house I thought I remembered you posting on the blog. Needless to say, I couldn't figure out which one it was. I look forward to catching up more and getting to see you! We move at the end of June.
I saw you at Wed. night and you weren't waddling but you also weren't wearing flip-flops on slippery school floors. How's that for a defense?
If she has been pregnant, then she probably meant it with love!
I definitely understand the feeling. There was one particular lady who was nearly as big as I was (except she wasn't pregnant) who insisted on making comments about how large I was getting every time I saw her. It took a lot to not make comments back about her size!!
The best one though... an older man at church telling me I was as a big as a bus. WHAT?!?! Then talking about how he wanted to hold the babies. You better believe I was thinking "Heck no you are not touching my babies!"
Hang in there, you're almost there!!!!!! :)
I'll agree with anything you say.
Waddle never a warm fuzzy word about a pregnant woman!! All women that have had children should know never to say the word waddle to a very pregnant person!! I'm sure you don't waddle..you look very cute!!
