Tree hunting

After our Thanksgiving meal we drove to the Christmas tree farm. Here is the gang; Ben, Lance and Kathleen were all too cool/too busy to join our adventure.
My Girl with her grandpa scouting out the very best tree.
Laine found her tree. Lee chopped it down and then hauled it along while we kept searching.
We found it! This was one of the first ones we spotted and none of the others could compare to it.

Lee got to work sawing.
and hauling. That tree was so fat and hard to lug.
Finally Jerry found one he liked.
The whole gang helping while I was busy documenting.

Our self-portrait. Girl was trying out her new hat and mittens. She (miraculously) loves wearing mittens.
Hauling our three tree back to the entrance.

So...our tree has been up and lit since last Saturday, but I still haven't put any ornaments on it. Do I have to? It looks so pretty when it is simple and uncluttered.

LOVE IT Karoline! What a fun adventure! Lee is such a manly man, cutting down trees. :) What great memories! and no, don't bother with ornaments. Lulu will just want to take them off :)

I agree with Sarah! Unless you want to fence in your tree I think that Lulu is a fabulous excuse for lights only this year.
